Terms and Conditions
These are our current Terms & Conditions of service. Your order with us will be governed by the terms set out below. Please ensure you have read them.
- Custom Cake Design Consultation:
We offer all our custom cake design clients one hour of free consultation so that we can best understand your requirements. All subsequent consultations will be charged at £10.00 per hour. - Deposit:
Once we have agreed on the size, type, style and price of cake(s), you will be given a cost estimate of the final price. A 75% deposit is then payable to confirm the order. - Full Payment:
The balance of the invoice for your consultations and cake(s) is due in full on or before the delivery of your cake(s). - Changes to your order:
We know changes can happen in your arrangements, and as such we want to be as flexible with you as we can. On placing an order with TDT Designs, an agreement with the finalised price is drawn up and is signed by both parties. Once the agreement is signed, any changes to the finalised order will be charged at the full price of the amended order. This is in addition to the charges for the original order. - Methods of payment:
We do not accept personal cheques. Payment can be made using a debit or credit card via our ponline payment processing partner Paypal. Other forms of acceptable payment are Cash, Bankers Draft or Direct BACS transfer. - Delivery or Collection:
You are welcome to collect your cake from our premises if you wish. Alternatively, we deliver within the M25. Delivery costs are charged at £0.85 per mile for a return journey within the M25. If your venue is outside the M25 Area, we can arrange for a courier to deliver the cake, however we cannot guanrantee this service and delivery via this method is undertaken soley at your own risk. - Hiring of Equipment:
If it is necessary to hire cake stands and or a cake knife set, the cost has two components; the actual cost to hire the item plus an additional security deposit to cover loss or damage to the item. The normal hire period will be for two days (i.e. if the item is hired on Monday it should be returned on Wednesday before 17:00 hrs).
TDT Designs reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
