Roses And Feathers
This lovely square wedding cake design is made up of a 7 inch square cutting cake and 20 mini 2 inch square cup cakes.
Cake designs for weddings that feature this style of arrangement are becoming more popular each year. They are particularly popular for more intimate wedding receptions where the number of guests is not as large.
All the cakes have a similar design. The small cakes are minatures of the larger top tier cake (In effect you can boast about having 21 wedding cakes in all).
Each wedding cake is covered in ivory sugar paste, with royal icing silver dots around the side of the cakes. A further touch of elegance is added with a silver satin ribbon added to the base of each cake.
The top wedding cake has an arrangement of white chocolate roses interspersed with feathers, whilst the mini cakes are topped with a single rose bud. The complete arrangement is set off by being presented in clear acetate boxes.
